Sara Dudo

is a writer, editor, and educator. She is the Associate Editor for Palette Poetry, an adjunct instructor of writing at Rowan University, Stockton University, and Southern New Hampshire University, and a recent MFA graduate from University of Nevada Las Vegas.

Sara has received nominations for the Pushcart Prize, Best of the Net, and Best New Poets. She’s been awarded the International Merit Award in the Atlanta Review 2024 International Poetry Competition and the 2024 Writing Arts Adjunct Award for Excellence in Teaching from Rowan University, and she was a finalist in the 2024 Iowa Review Award in Poetry and runner-up in the Big Sky Small Prose Flash Contest by Cutbank Literary Journal. Her poetry and nonfiction has been published in over 50 literary journals, including The Iowa Review, The Notre Dame Review, The Minnesota Review, The Atlanta Review, and Raleigh Review. Her photography has been featured in several issues of Nevada Magazine.

Although she currently works as an editor and an adjunct instructor at three universities teaching first-year writing and creative writing, Sara has also worked as a flower nursery farmhand, cactus nursery waterer, and florist.

When Sara isn’t writing, teaching, or editing, she enjoys exploring the deserts of Nevada and California, experimenting with film and digital photography, hiking, surfing, snowboarding, and spending time with her husband Ray and dog Layla.
